It’s been a long journey full of lots of laughs, but I am finally wrapped on my 5th Scorpio Film Releasing film, The Disco Exorcist. I would say that the last day of filming was definitely one of the most fun. The last scenes to be shot were those that took place at the orgy – that’s right, I said orgy. Yes, that means lots of naked men and women walking around enjoying their nakedness. The extras chosen for this scene were really fantastically good sports. Everyone had a great time and was able to keep a straight face and make it through, to spite all the possible silliness that could come around from so much nudity. And in the midst of it all, Michael Thurber, making his film debut, gave an absolutely wonderful performance as Marque. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Michael previously in the play, Postmortem. He is always an absolute pleasure to work with – immensely talented and an absolute sweetheart.

What a fantastic week! It started off with a meet and greet with for 
Where to start….. I had such a great time during these productions it’s hard to really pick out specific moments. I don’t think I’ve worked on two productions that overlapped like these did. The majority of the cast of Normal were going to be rehearsing the two days before shooting started, however I was set to shoot Debeaked during those two days…. so I went to RI for rehearsal for Normal the two days before everyone else and did a separate rehearsal since most of my scenes are only with a few actors, then went to Chicago to shoot Debeaked for two days, and then back to RI to start shooting Normal… made me think I really need to look into some sort of frequent flier program! 
Hello from Texas!! I am officially wrapped on the feature 
One of the quickest shoots I’ve been on – finished a feature in I think it was 8 days (non consecutive). The film is very stylized and dialogue heavy. Think A Clockwork Orange meets Clerks, only the focus is more on sexual comedy than stoner comedy or violence. 
One part of our craft as actors is to look the part for the roles that we can play. Now this doesn’t always mean being beautiful and chiseled – some people are better as “the creepy guy” and keep themselves waif-like, or “the funny fat guy” whose entire career is dependent on them keeping those extra pounds. For me, I don’t really fit into either of this, so for me, being fit is an important part of “the package”. 
To join SAG or to remain non-union? That is the question.
