Hello from Texas!! I am officially wrapped on the feature The Fetish Set. I spent most of this film either with only one eye as I get pretty beaten up and get this awesome swollen eye prosthetic, or in a little girl outfit with pigtails. This is the first film of a 3-part series, that will hopefully get made depending on the success of this first one – so when it comes out you have to watch it!

One of the quickest shoots I’ve been on – finished a feature in I think it was 8 days (non consecutive). The film is very stylized and dialogue heavy. Think A Clockwork Orange meets Clerks, only the focus is more on sexual comedy than stoner comedy or violence.

One part of our craft as actors is to look the part for the roles that we can play. Now this doesn’t always mean being beautiful and chiseled – some people are better as “the creepy guy” and keep themselves waif-like, or “the funny fat guy” whose entire career is dependent on them keeping those extra pounds. For me, I don’t really fit into either of this, so for me, being fit is an important part of “the package”.

To join SAG or to remain non-union? That is the question.
This is something I’ve been considering very seriously recently. As anyone who knows me or has read any of my other posts, I have been very proudly non-union for a long time, even though I’ve been eligible to join for around 5 years now. I’m at the point where I think being non-union might actually be a hindrance to me.

Wrapped on a small part in a feature and a short. While working on Alice D on the east coast, I was lucky enough to be able to squeeze in two other projects while being there.

I am wrapped on the feature film Alice D, the next film from by Jessica Sonneborn and Kristina Page, starring Al Snow and Kane Hodder.
Love, love, loved being on this set!! The best part of course was that I got to spend over a week with Michael again since he had been out of town for over a month at this point working on The Inhabitants. Everyone was living together in this amazing mansion in Barrington RI for the duration of the shoot and it was a blast! Most of the cast and crew knew each other (all though there were some new faces too), either from other projects, or just from having mutual friends, so it was great to see so many of these wonderful people again, and back in my old state of RI no less! We even ended up randomly bumping into our very good and talented friend Michael Thurber one night at the mall while looking for some clothes for costuming, and some of my friends from home such as William Decoff has parts in the film, so it was great to see him and his son Timmy and all my other awesome friends who came out to be extras!

Well, we’re still alive! That’s a good start to 2013! Honestly, I’m a bit disappointed that nothing happened – at least that we know of. After all that hype and years of speculation and all the odd conscience coming together on that one day, but nothing happened….oh well, keep moving on I guess.
