I have tracking information on my website to see who is visiting, where they are located, what pages they look at ect. One of the search terms that was recently used to get to my site was the phrase “am I good enough?” This is of course something that every actor who I know has asked themselves at least once. But the truth of it all is — it doesn’t matter.

I was so completely blown away by Exhumed.
Michael and I flew back to New England for its premier and we were so glad that we did. The flight to get there sucked since even though we were there waiting at the gate and I had talked to the man at the desk when we got there, we (Michael, myself and another girl) never heard them announce that our plane was boarding, so even though they knew that we were there, the flight left without us. So we had to get on standby for another direct flight to Boston a few hours later. As it started boarding we look at the standby list and see we are numbers 10 and 11 in line. No way we were going to make that flight. We continue to wait and thus far 18 people haven’t shown up. They paige the missing passengers (as they should have done for us on the original flight) and 7 people show up….and only 7. Amazingly, we got on that flight.

What a fun way to gear up for Halloween!
I never claim to be much of a model nor is it something I’m really that interested in pursuing, which is probably good given that I’m 5’3″, but I actually got to do something I never in my life thought I would – walk down a “runway” at a fashion show! Of course, this fashion show was a little different – it was a zombie fashion show

My goodness! If you’re in New England, I feel like I should almost put together a “season pass” for all of the screenings that are coming up of films that I’m in. I wish that I could make it to all of these (what a time to switch coasts!), but sadly I will not be able to. However, these are some really great films and could use your support! So please, if you’re in New England and can make it – take a night out to check out some great indie films:

This is a bit of a touchy subject and one that I think not enough people know about. I am not saying that endorse FiCo, but I just believe in knowing all of your options before signing onto something. So, I’m putting this together to share what knowledge I do have about FiCo with other people who are interested in it since there is very little info about it online and I’ve actually have a few people approach me wanting to know more about it…

I’ve been in LA for almost two weeks now and it’s really been an eye-opening experience. Everything that you’ve heard about how competitive and hard it is here is true and then some! Other than through agents, there are only a handful of places to look for auditions and there are just so many people that submit through them that unless you’re headshot is exactly what the casting director had in mind for the part, you’re not going to get called – even if you really could play that part, you could dye your hair or cut it or whatever, even if you might be a better actor than the others submitting, that doesn’t matter – it’s all about the right now. Even getting extra work, just to make a little extra cash, is competitive. There is just such an overwhelming amount of people going for the same thing that it’s easy to get lost in the clutter.

As many I’m sure already know, I’m in the process of moving to LA.
Michael and I will be driving cross country for the next two months or so as we explore the US in a long awaited vacation combined with a move to LA.
New England has been very good to us and it’s been very hard to up-root ourselves to leave behind so many family members and very close dear friends, not to mention the hard work that we’ve put in to establish a reputation here as actors, but I feel as though if we never really “go for it”, then when I’m 78 years old, I’m going to be looking back on my life and asking “what if”, and to me that would be the absolute worst thing that could happen. So, we have to give it a shot.
