Casting: Exhumed
I am absolutely thrilled to be cast in the next Scorpio Film Releasing project: Exhumed!!
To be honest, this is a project that has sort of been in the works for a little while now. Around a year ago Richard told Michael and I about a dream that he had, that he just couldn’t get out of his head, so he was thinking about turning it into a film. From the first time he told us about this idea, I absolutely fell in love with the plot. It was so “exactly me” and “right up my alley”. It was a beautifully twisted love story about an emotionally disturbed girl who, when faced with loosing the only person who has ever truly loved her, snaps and does whatever it takes to keep him with her. To me, a love that deep and that “pure” (and in this context I use that word gently) is one of the most awesome forces in life, which is what drew me so strongly to this piece.
While the plot has changed a little in the most recent rendition of the script as compared to the story that Richard first told us, it is still that beautifully twisted love story at its core. Not only that, but Guy Beniot has turned that dream into an amazing script. It’s haunting, moody, and visceral. I can’t wait to start working on.
Unlike most other SFR films, this film has a very small cast. The other members of our troupe will be: Michael Reed, Michael Thurber, Rich Tretheway, Ruth Sullivan, Jocelyn Padilla, Jonathan Thomson and genre legand Debbie Rochan.
